FAQs I need the framing dimensions and mantle clearances, as well as other information for the Inglenook Fireplace. Where can I find these?
The framing dimensions, mantle clearances and other installation information can be found by going to the Inglenook Owner's Manual (pdf). Just click on the information you are looking for in the table of the contents, and the correct page will appear.
Why are there different mantle clearances for the Inglenook Fireplace?
The mantle clearances will vary depending upon the ducting options you choose. Go to the Inglenook Owner's Manual for more details on this web site.
What type of chimney does the Inglenook Fireplace use?
The Inglenook Fireplace uses a factory-built chimney. This can be either a Class A double-wall insulated chimney rated to 2100 degrees or an air cooled chimney, as long as the starting piece (starter collar) is approved for the Inglenook Fireplace. The starter collar should make a good connection within the unit and be properly secured to the top of the unit using screws. Go to the Inglenook Owner's Manual for more information.
Can I put a gas starter in the Inglenook Fireplace?
No. The Inglenook has not been tested for use with a gas starter. Installation of a gas starter will void your Country Flame warranty.
Is the Inglenook Fireplace approved for mobile home use?
Yes. The Country Flame Inglenook is approved for use in mobile homes. Outside air connection is required for use in mobile homes, and the Inglenook uses 100% outside air.
